Toddler Yoga:

For children walking to 3 years old. Younger pre-walking siblings are welcome to be present during class for no extra charge, but the class is not geared towards them.

Join your toddler as we take a yoga journey they will never forget!  Using visual aids, we will stand rooted like trees, bark in downward dog, flutter our wings in butterfly, trumpet water like an elephant, and hop high like a frog!  We will play games, listen to music, and practice breathing exercises which they can bring into everyday life.  This themed class creates a space for bonding between parent or caregiver and child while strengthening growing muscles, and ends with relaxation. Class is 45 minutes.

Kids Yoga:

For kids 4-8 years old.

This yoga class for kids encourages imagination, self-expression, and building positive peer interactions.  Children will learn breathing and relaxation techniques as well as how to play creatively while building balance, concentration, strength, flexibility, and coordination.  These physical skills and anatomical self-awareness complement other extracurricular activities such as soccer, hockey, dance and gymnastics. While learning respect for self and others, kids will have fun doing partner and group poses, and lots of yoga games.  Each class tells a story and surrounds a theme such as Garden, Beach, Jungle, Dinosaurs, Fire Rescue, Magical Castle, and many more!  Singing, drawing and yoga comprise this energy-releasing, 45 minute class.  

Tween Yoga:

For kids 9-12 years old

Family Yoga

For up to 2 adult and 2 children, immediate family members only. For additional family members there is an extra charge.

In this fun and interactive yoga class, families will strengthen their bond and create meaningful memories together. In a world where parents and children are so busy, family yoga provides a wonderful place to spend healthy and happy, quality time together. Classes are often themed, and we will explore individual and partner postures as well as games and stories. The family interactions help to build team spirit, confidence and self-esteem, as well as strong, flexible, whole and healthy bodies. Class is 45 minutes.

Private Individual or Group Yoga Sessions:

Kids can practice yoga one-on-one or in a small group. Private individual or group classes for families, groups of friends, moms and babies or any other group can be accommodated. Sessions can be held in your home, or Appleseed Yoga can suggest a venue, and book it for an extra fee.

Birthday Parties

Appleseed Yoga Birthday Parties are a unique way to spend your special day!  Our parties include basic and challenging age-appropriate yoga poses.  Children will play fun yoga games and learn useful breathing techniques. Each party will end with a relaxation time and hand or foot massages. Most importantly, kids will have FUN!

Birthday Parties can be held at the Ralph Thornton Centre, your home or another venue of choice.  Appleseed Yoga can provide venue suggestions based on your location.  

My First Birthday Party: $200**

Celebrate baby's first year with age appropriate yoga poses for parent and child. Baby guests and their parents can participate in a special 45 minute Yoga for Your Baby class complete with songs and stretches for everyone.  For up to 10 adults (babies excluded). For each additional adult, $25.

Basic Yoga Birthday Party: $250**

1.5 hours of fun-filled yoga with music, games and a special craft for up to 10 children.  Choose a fun theme* or come up with your own!  Includes a breathing exercise and ends with foot massages and relaxation time.  For each additional child, $25.  Suitable for ages 2+.

*Possible themes include:
Jungle, Dinosaurs, Farm, Outer Space, Around the World, Superheroes, Magical Fairies, Unicorns, Pirates, Under the Sea, Fire Rescue, or your favourite movie/cartoon characters, your imagination is the limit!

**A non-refundable deposit of $100 is required in order to reserve a date and time for your yoga party.
