Thinking about my greatest hopes for the next generation is very relevant to me right now as I am stepping into motherhood myself. My greatest hope for the next generation is that they hold onto their intuition and curiosity - their connection with themselves, and the outside world.

That they aren’t afraid to try new things and to take healthy risks to learn something new.
That they aren’t limiting themselves to what they’ve been told they’re capable of, but strive for what they know they’re capable of.
That they stand up for what they believe in because they feel the passion inside of them, not just because…

My greatest hope for the next generation is simply - connection.

I hope the next generation forms a connection with nature.
That they can see the patterns that are evident in the world and it’s creatures, and that these patterns are innately part of them too. I hope that by observing, and being with nature, they come to understand how marvellous it is, and that since they are part of it, they too are…

Trees ground us, shelter us, and encourage us to reach higher.
They provide food, fresh air, and can be a wondrous natural playground.

Trees are incredible and, in my opinion, so soothing all year round. They are also an amazing source of inspiration for our yoga practice - can you guess how many species of trees are found all over the world?…
